My little brother Kyler is getting closer and closer to leaving on his mission. It is bittersweet. Two years isn't very long, but at the same time, a lot can happen in two years. We will miss him but we are excited for him and this chapter in his life. And...it's his 19th birthday today! Happy Birthday little brother!!!!! Love ya much!

If anyone knows Swayzee, knows she isn't a big fan of water, so I really made a big deal about her getting her hair wet!! Yay Swayzee!!

And then...there's Addi who you cannot keep out of the water. She LOVES water!

Hiking Molly's Nipple

I was SO nervous and sorta freaking out when these guys were throwing rocks off the side! Ahhhhh!! They were making me crazy! I'm kind of a worry wart now that I have kids.

Weston and I had never hiked Molly's Nipple, so we decided to do that this summer. It was so fun!! My little brothers and sister came with us and we had a really fun day! I LOVE MY FAMILY!!

I bet you can't tell who the scared ones are in this picture?... Jaden and I are the smarter ones. Weston, Kaylee and Kyler were making us a nervous wreck!! There is nothing wrong with sitting down and enjoying the view right? (;

NEW MEXICO PHILMONT TRIP

This place was BEAUTIFUL!

On our way home, we stopped in Colorado and rented this awesome bike and rode it around the town for an hour. Weston and I were exhausted!!!!! The girls had a ball and kept asking why we were going so slow!! We were pretty sore after pedaling around that long!

I wish I could take credit for our family flag, but I can't! Weston's mom made it for us. I have it hanging on a wall in our house. I think it is so cute!!!!

MY FAVORITE PICTURE!! Swayzee with two members of the General Primary Presidency. She was picked to lead the primary parade!! They loved her name, and throughout the whole week, they always recognized her and said hi. These two ladies were so amazing!

Wow! This trip happened way back in June! Time goes by too fast and I get more behind every single day. :( Weston is the Stake Young Men's President and we were invited to attend this leadership training at Philmont in New Mexico. I didn't have the best attitude at first. I thought he was going to have all these meeting all week and I was going to be alone with the girls. That didn't sound so fun. Boy...I was so wrong! We had a blast and had plenty of fun family time! It was a testimony builder as well! I am thankful for Weston's calling and all the many blessings it brings our little family. Before this trip, I was not even seeing the little blessings in our every day life. After this trip, I am so much more mindful of every little blessing each day. I am so thankful for this gospel!

Yes...I know it is July, but I am so behind on my posts, I have to start with Easter. So here is one of many posts to come.

For Easter this year, we went to the desert camping with my little brothers and sister. We had so much fun! And...the Easter bunny even found us out there!

My friend Kaylie took some more pictures of Bentlee for me. She did such a good job! I love them! You can't tell in these pictures, but Bentlee was crying before most of these photos. Before every picture, we would put her binki in and get her settled down, then right before Kaylie snapped the picture, I would take the binki out.

Meet Bentlee Mason

It was a very easy delivery. I was admitted in the hospital at 4:30 P.M. on December 30th...Bentlee was born at 6:08 P.M.!! She came really fast! It was fun and very exciting!! More pics to come soon!

I love this time of year!! And these two little girls make it so much more fun!!

These two little girls are my life! I love being able to stay home with them. They are so innocent. It's fun to see them change and learn the little simple things in life. Swayzee is so smart and doing very well in preschool. She caught on to writing her name so fast and is kind of a perfectionist at it. She will practice and redo it until it meets her requirements. She loves to write all her cousins names. I will write them at the top of a paper and she will copy them. She gets so excited and is very proud when she completes all the names (which takes a while...there is a lot)! She turned 4 in November which makes me feel really old!

Addison just turned 2! She is so mature and grown up! She loves to do anything Swayzee does. She copies everything she does! All of the sudden she thinks she needs to go potty, and does pretty good at it considering I haven't pushed her one bit. It was all her idea. She talks... ALOT!! I can understand pretty much anything she is trying to say. She loves babies and barbies which is opposite of her older sisiter. Swayzee has absolutely no interest in either one. She loves to count and sing all the preschool and Christmas songs we are learning right now and picks up the words really fast! She loves to dress up and dance. I need to get it on film...(SO CUTE)!

We are about to add baby...and girl #3 to our family. My doctor told us anytime after Christmas. Weston wants to wait and have the New Year baby. But in my mind, the sooner the better. I am ready to have my body back!! We are excited!!

We didn't really get to celebrate Halloween this year because of State Volleyball, so I didn't get very many pics of their costumes. This is our little witch Addison enjoying a cupcake.

Two Saturdays ago, Weston took the two girls to Home Depot and they were able to make these little projects. Swayzee made a birdhouse and Addison made a spice rack. They were a little excited to be able to come home and paint them!!

All my mom and dad's grandkids birthday's are in October and November. So we decided to do one big party for all of them. We chose Build A Bear. It was a big hit!!

No More Binki!!

This is Addison and her cousin Boston and the swimming pool this summer. This is about the last picture we took of Addison before we took that binki away! Yahoo!! At about 19 months, we decided it was time. We tried the same trick we used on Swayzee and it worked! We're two for two with this stratedy. It was an accident at first. I couldn't find it one afternoon for the 70th time. I was sick of keeping track of it and decided she needs to be done! She called it her "B." After I looked for about 1 minute, she asked, "Mommy, my B." I replied the puppy ate it. And seriously this is the response I got...After she giggled for a second, she said, "Puppy B. Silly puppy!" And that was that! She would ask a couple times a day for a while, but never threw a fit. We would get the same response every time! Way too easy!! The whole binki thing might be my favorite reason for having a dog!! Now...if only potty-training could be that easy!

Pony Ride!!

My brother Jaden bought a pony cart a while ago. That is why all his nieces and nephews LOVE him! He is getting quite a few ponies and the kids love them. This pony is named Coco. (I think... or am I wrong?) Anyway... Jaden says he never really broke it. He just strapped this rig on Coco one day and she didn't seem to mind. (Am I telling this story right Jaden? I hope so!)

He took them around the block a couple weeks ago and they had so much fun! When they were almost back to the house, one of those Razors flew by and spooked the pony. I was filming and just happened to turn it off right before this incident happened. Coco started going nuts! That's when I dropped the camera and Jaden and I started throwing kids off before someone got hurt. Coco ended up on his side and bent the pony cart pretty bad. I felt bad! Poor Jaden has to do some repair on the cart before we can go again!!

Thanks for the good time Uncle Jaden! My girls always ask when you are coming to play. I tell them you are at college. They obviously have no idea what that is but they want to go too! I AM ALL FOR IT! You just set the date and they'll be there!!

Yuba Trip!

We went to Yuba this summer and had a blast! Weston doesn't like to take a lot of time off work so he especially likes this kind of trip because it is not very far from home! (He's a work-aholic!!)
Here are a couple pictures of the kids. They had so much fun playing in the sand and water!!
Addison didn't really like her life jacket so this is how she preferred to get ready for the water.
She likes to do things be herself can you tell? She also has to pick out her own clothes every day. If the outfit is not her idea, she refuses to wear it!!

Swayzee on the tube with Uncle Jaden and her cousins. She thought she was pretty brave standing up! I didn't even think she would get on the tube so I was very surprised when she wanted to stand up. She loved it! She hates swimming at the pool but I guess the lake is ok! Kind of backwards but whatever works!!

Addison loved filling up her bucket then dumping it in the hole that the older cousins were trying to dig. They all would dig faster when she started their way yelling, "No Addi!" But it didn't stop her!

This is what Swayzee loves to do: fill her bucket, dump it in the water, watch it disappear and then do it over again. Very easily entertained!!

My New Favorite Face Wash!

I am VERY picky about face wash. I have a hard time finding one that I love to use. But...I think I love this one. It caught my eye yesterday because of the cool little applicator brush that is built into the bottle. I used it last night and my skin immediately felt SO SO good! Love it so far and thought I would recommend this to anyone out there struggling to find a face wash they love.

We had our ultrasound Friday morning and found out...we are having a.......

GIRL!!

That's right This baby will make 3 girls!! HOLY SMOKES! What are we going to do with three girls? We are barely above water trying to handle two!!

The very first minute of the ultrasound, before any measurements were made, I just started laughing! I knew what those three lines meant...all girl...absolutely no boy parts visible!! And then the lady confirmed it, "Well, this little baby isn't shy. Baby is definately a girl."

For those of you who haven't seen an ultrasound, when you see the thighs and two bumcheeks, you look inbetween there and if you don't see anything but three lines, you know it is a girl. I have seen and know what to look for both ways. My sisters both have boys and it is very easy to tell they are a boy because there is a lot going on between those bumcheeks. When it is a girl,there is nothing but three lines. I went in there Friday knowing what I was looking for, and sure enough...I saw it right off!

Despite what many of you probably think...we are not dissapointed or suprised.

It's going to be crazy and EXPENSIVE around our house for many years to come. Having kids is expensive. Especially girls! You have dance, piano, gymnastics, singing and that is just when they are little. I can't even wrap my brain around the money that will go into personal interests such as sports, dance, school...oh and heaven forbid...pageants and cheerleading!

We will just take it one day at a time and enjoy these special little girls as long as we can! I love being a mom and I feel so blessed to be able to raise these little spirits here on earth. They mean everything to me!!

Summer Fun!!

I can't believe summer is almost gone!! Why does time have to go by so fast? We are having a fun but very hot summer! These are just kind of random pictures in no particular order. Hope everyone is having a great summer as well.

Oh...we are going to welcome our third baby in January! We find out what we are having on August 20th. Swayzee tells everyone it is another little sister. And ya...she is probably right! :)

We decided to enter Swayzee in the county Rodeo Pageant. We were a little nervous because she can change her mood so fast. We asked her if she wanted to go on a stage and say her name and age in a microphone. She excitedly shook her head and said ya!! Anyway it turned out really cute and we were so proud of her. She did so cute. She was crowned "Tiny Queen." She is growing up so fast! These little moments are so precious!! Just a warning...I really need a new camera so some of these pics are kinda blurry. Sorry!

No more puppy!

We finally got rid of our puppy. And it couldn't have happened at a better time. These girls were getting way too attached to it. Swayzee named it Bo Bo, and I knew when we got rid of it, it would break her little heart.

We were desperate! So when a lady called us and said she wanted him, but she needed us to meet her half way, I was more than willing. Wow...I really didn't think this decision through. THAT WAS THE WORST RIDE TO PROVO I HAVE EVER HAD!! First of all...I am allergic to animal hair, so I made Weston really protect my car so it wouldn't leave a trace of dog hair. So he put packing blankets all over the back of my car, threw the puppy in the pet porter with some food and water and told me good luck as he headed back to work with a big smile on his face. (I really should have made him do this). As soon as it gets in my car, it's starts whining and did not stop the whole hour and a half!! I thought that was terrible! Oh wait...what's that smell? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Bo Bo, you better not have done what I think you just did! Oh yes he did! Talk about stink! But I knew if I had to get the poop out, it would mean me touching the dog and breaking out in hives! So needless to say, worst ride to Provo EVER! Swayzee was even getting irritated. She kept yelling, "Bo Bo, lay down!" Then Addison would scream, trying to out-do both of them. I just turned to dvd player as loud as it would go and drove as fast as I could. I couldn't have been happier to get rid of that stinky mutt!

FREE PUPPY!

Our dog had a puppy a couple months ago and my girls absolutely love it! However Weston and I...not so much :( There is barely enough time for one dog in our lives let alone two. So if anyone wants a little puppy, or knows of someone who can give this little guy a good home, let us know!!

Since Weston insisted the girls couldn't ride the four-wheeler without helmets (which is a good idea) ...they each got one. And since I got them for a steal, I decided to throw in some really cute pink fox gloves to go with their helmets!! (not pictured though)

Addison Loved it!!! She is ready!

I know many of you will be shocked when I tell you Swayzee absolutely REFUSED to wear the racing type helmet (sorry....I don't know what it is called) instead she had to have the bike kind of helmet. Whatev! These days I have to pick my battles! :)

Can't wait for warm weather so we can test them out!

New Puppy!!

So I haven't been very good at blogging lately. Mostly because I haven't had my camera going since Christmas. (I know...that's terrible) I think I suffer from Seasonal Depression after Christmas. As soon as the Holidays are over, I'm ready for spring. And so are my kids. They love being outside and are getting sick of being indoors. We go outside every time the weather is half decent and let them ride their bikes.

So I thought since I haven't been taking pics, I would post some pictures of my favorite Holiday that I totally forgot were on my camera. So Merry belated Christmas!!

Swayzee: Three years old. ( I took it myself!) Pretty good I think!! Addison: One year old!! Taking these pictures myself wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. It was a lot less stressful than going somewhere. The girls weren't rushed, so they were in better moods. Plus I wasn't afraid of doing silly things to make them laugh because we were at home where no one will ever know what I had to do to get these adorable laughs and smiles!!

This picture was adorable!! That is until I got carried away messing with it. And then I accidentally deleted it off my card, so this is as good as I could get it. I love her smile!! :)

I have the most beautiful girls don't ya think? I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to raise them. They are so much fun!! Expecially this time of year. I have a feeling Santa is really going to spoil them this year!

These are a couple pictures from Halloween this year. I am not a big Halloween person so I couldn't really see any reason to spend a lot of money on costumes. Swayzee is wearing a variety of my old dance costumes. (she is a rodeo queen with snow boots if you couldn't tell!) and Addison is a little fairy. We went to the Halloween Carnival and Trunk or Treat. It was a lot of fun and I think trunk or treat is such a good idea because I wasn't looking forward to taking Swayzee door to door!!

Addi is getting so big. Everything but her hair is growing so fast!! :) She is getting more fun every day. I love this age!! They start showing you their little personality. She is walking all over! I can't believe she will be a year old in a couple weeks!! I want her to stay little. :(

Another Broken Arm!!!

Swayzee is two for two!! Meaning she had two broken bones at the age of two. Are you kidding me? Who does this? Well...have ya met our little Swayzee? She has no fear and does things even though she can tell you, exactly word for word what the rules are.

Last night Swayzee would not get in the tub with Addi so she was playing in the other room. As I was getting Addi out of the tub, I heard a huge bang and scream. I ran in the living room and Swayzee was face down screaming hysterically. I was in denial about the whole thing. Deep down I knew something was wrong because she really is a tough kid and usually gets over things pretty quick. But a half hour later, she wouldn't stop screaming. So I called my mother-in-law and asked her to come over and look at her just like the last broken arm. She told me to take her over because she could tell by that cry that something was wrong. I really didn't want to, we were there with her just a couple months ago. Surely it couldn't be another broken bone. So Weston and I haul her over and long story short and a whole lot of crying later...she broke her collar bone. I don't know exactly what happened. All I can get out of her is, "My jump on your green couch." She is in a lot of pain...but doing her best to be brave. She keeps telling me she is sorry and it brakes my heart!! Poor thing, and I keep thinking if I had just made her get in the tub with Addison, it never would have happened!

Starting school can be exhausting!!

The other night, we all sat down to eat dinner and this is what happened...Swayzee and Addi both fell asleep at the table. Swayzee didn't say a word, we were just talking and all the sudden she laid her little head on Weston and was out. Addison is in her high chair on the counter if you couldn't see her! It takes a lot out of them with preschool and volleyball going on!

I haven't posted for a while. Not a whole lot going on. We started preschool a couple weeks ago and Swayzee was so excited for school!! She absolutely loves it!! She wakes up every morning and says, "mom, the suns up, it's time for school!" Even if we don't have it...every morning she says the same thing:). She has also started taking singing lessons. She loves to sing and dance! (sorry for the cheesy grin, she does this lately!)

Saturday afternoon, I had to help with a volleyball tournament so Mr. Mom had the girls. They flew kites, worked in the garden and painted this wooden train. When I got home, Swayzee couldn't wait to show me her little art project. She was so proud of herself. It was super cute! She is growing up so fast.

The other day, she went to a friends house to play for the very first time. I really wanted her to show some kind of resistance in leaving me, but she didn't... instead she said, "By mom, I be a good girl!" It was really cute but a very sad moment for me. :(

She loves to sing so I just signed her up for singing lessons and that really makes her feel all grown up! I can't believe how fast my kids are changing and growing! She is almost three and Addison is almost one. I really don't feel old enough to have a three-year old!!

I have heard that your hardest child is always first. Well, I hope that is true, otherwise we might be done!! :) I love my girls and I love, love being a mom. But it isn't always fun and to me can be a little over-whelming at times. Swayzee can be quite the little nuisance sometimes!! She likes things her own way and if she doesnt' get her way...she kicks, screams, throws things and hits. She throws the biggest fits and there is no reasoning with her. So she goes to time-out and continues to kick and scream for quite a while. Then when she finally calms down and we explain why she can't do that, she tells us she is sorry and she says she will try harder. We do this same pattern quite regularly. If anyone has any other suggestions...feel free!! She can be so cute when she wants to be. She loves to tinker with things (just like her dad) and is so curious about everything. I took them with me to volleyball practice monday. They were sitting in the double stroller playing...or so I thought. Next time I look over Swayzee had the front wheel of the stroller off and was rolling it across the gym floor!! It's a good thing Addi was buckled in or she would have done a nose-dive off the front! Oh I could go on and on. But that is our adventure-hungry, curious little Swayzee!! And we love everything about her! Hmm...I wonder what Addison will be like in a couple years?

New Piano

K...so I got this piano right before Addison was born and I love it!! My mom found it for me. A lady was moving out of our ward and didn't want to have to move it so we got a really good deal on it. I don't get to play it very much right now with my little kids trying to help me, but I am excited to have a piano. We try and have family nights each week. I play while Weston and Swayzee sing. It is one of those special moments we get to share as a family. I love music. And I am grateful for my mom who made me take lessons. I hated it at the time. I used to throw the biggest fits when she made me practice. I would pound out every note. ( I was such a stinker!! ) but I love it now and am looking forward to teaching my girls how to play as well.

Sorry about the nudity...We just arrived and Swayzee couldn't resist. She needed to go play in the water. We were all laughing so hard at her. She has no bum and this is a battle we go through almost every day. I snuck up behind her and snapped this picture.

Addison loves the water! She would walk, roll and crawl in it all day if I would let her!! Her and Swayzee are as different as night and day!! :)

I was so suprised when Swayzee willingly got on the tube. I didn't think she would even consider it. This is my sister Brenda with her little Chloe and Weston and Swayzee. We went super slow and they loved it!!

My brother-in-law Nick burried Swayzee in the sand. You can't tell from the picture, but she loved it and wanted to do it over and over. Her favorite part was trying to get out of it.

We took Swayzee took the Ute Stampede Thursday and she was in heaven! She is our future little rodeo queen. She absolutely loves horses and cows. She hardly dared to even blink the whole time. It is so much fun now that she is getting old enough to take her to things that we know she has an interest in. She is getting so grown up:(

My sister is moving:( so we have all been spending a lot of time at their brand new house before they move. One day, we were getting ready to go and we walked outside and this is what we saw.

I haven't posted about Addi in a long time. I can't let you guys forget about our little Addison. She is such a good baby! She is almost 7 months old. She sits up, rolls both ways, crawls, scoots and pulls herself up to furniture. She is hitting every mile stone all at once! She has her daddy's smile, and it doesn't take much to get her to smile. You smile at her and guarenteed...she will smile back! It is the cutest thing!! Weston, Swayzee and I love her so much! She is so much fun:)

These are pictures of Swayzee at the doctors office. The first picture is her reaction when we told her the doctor needed to put a cast on her arm. -- The second picture is when we told her that the doctor said it didn't need one!! She is such a drama queen.

The doctor said that little kids heal a lot faster than adults. He thought it was secure enough in the fiberglass cast. We go back in Tuesday for an x-ray. And hopefully it should be all better!! Yeah! We can finally go swimming!! :)

Sunday night, Our little Swayzee broke her arm while playing with her little cousins. We were all having dinner at my sisters house and the kids were having a blast. They were playing together so cute. As they all ran downstairs, I commented on how well they were all getting along. (very rare!) Then I heard it! The worst sound I have ever heard out of my Swayz. She was crying like I had never heard before. The oldest person to witness what happened was my 5 year old nephew Porter. He said, "Grady and Swayzee fell off our stage!"
I felt even worse after the fact because I didn't think there was anything serious wrong. I kept telling her to stop crying:(!! Little did I know... an hour after, her left arm was triple its' regular size! I called my mother in law to get a second opinion because Weston was to a meeting, and she said she would take her to the E.R. right away! So we did. And sure enough, it was broke. Her radius bone was definately broke. MAN... you should have seen the fight we had to get her x-rays. Weston and I both had to hold her down. She's little, but strong! She was hitting the doctor and yelling, "Leave me alone, No, no no!" Until the demerol shot, then she calmed down enough for the doc to get the wrap on.
The doctor warned us about today he said the day after is always the worst but honestly, she has been so good today. Totally acting like our little Swayzee. So this morning I got her verson of what happen to what she calls her, "bwoken awm,"

Conversation-- MOM: Sweetheart, what happened to your arm?" SWAYZEE: "My push Grady ( her three year old cousin who is much much bigger than her) and he pushed me. My fall off table mom." MOM: Did Grady fall too?" SWAYZEE: "Yep, but he ok. I said sorry to my friend."

So I can't figure out how to do Swayzee's nap time anymore. Is she too old? If she has a nap, she is up all hours of the night. But if she doesn't, she is total bear by 7:00 p.m. So lately I have just been playing it by ear and these are some of the positions she has fallen asleep in lately.

Swayzee LOVES Horses. This is my dad's horse. He let her sit on it while they had a lunch break from chasing cows. She threw the biggest fit when she had to get off.

These two vidoes are Swayzee singing and sorta counting. She thinks she is as big as the preschool kids. She tries to sing the songs. She has the tune down but not all the words yet. And she can count to 13, but she wouldn't do it for me:( Sorry for the messy background. If I try to clean her room, she gets mad and drags everything back out. She is a VERY stubborn, but VERY cute two-year old!!

It took us forever to finally get a decent picture:) The photographer had to bring out her little boy that is a little older than Swayzee and after that Swayzee was all smiles!!
